Emma's Baptism

T.R. was putting Emma to bed on her 7th birthday...March 20, 2011. She had been asking a lot of questions about what it means to be saved, and she was really starting to put things together and really understand. I was in the kitchen, and T.R. came in to tell me to come back there. Emma had decided to make Jesus the Lord of her life, and she was ready to pray and ask forgiveness for her sins and to ask Jesus into her heart. It was the sweetest prayer I have ever heard. She was baptized last Wednesday night...January 4, 2012, and her Daddy did it. I am so proud of our sweet Emma and can't wait to see what God has for her as she lives for Him!

Opening a special present from Mommy and Daddy...

A James Avery cross necklace to remember this special day!

Waiting for the service to start with Rob Hunt. Rob and his wife Kellie have been a special couple to us since we moved to Oklahoma almost 8 years ago. They were our first Sunday school teachers here!

Showing off the robe!

Church was starting, and they were singing the song that Emma requested...Laura Story's "Mighty to Save".

Listening to Daddy talk about her salvation experience...

Daddy and Emma afterwards...what a moment to share.

What a wonderful day it must have been. There is nothing more moving then seeing someone dedicate their life to Christ. I know it has a lot to do with your positive influence. Good job!
