Christmas

It's been a long time since I have posted! We were really busy with Christmas activities after we got back from Disney World. We went to see Santa at the Kirkwood train station, the girls built a gingerbread house with Daddy, both of the girls dance classes did a special Christmas dance for the parents, we baked yummy rudolph cookies for a cookies exchange with friends, and we got to go to Texarkana for Christmas! My Dad had to have surgery a week before Christmas, so we were glad we got to get down to visit him. We got a lot of great gifts for Christmas, but the best one was that he got to come home from the hospital on Christmas Eve.

It was so good to see all of our family, and we got to meet a new member! We finally got to meet and hold Ella, my brother and his wife's new baby. She was an absolute doll, and we all love her to death! Emma and AnnaKate are always ready to see their big cousin, Tyler too. He is a lot of fun to play with! We got to see all of our other cousins on Christmas Eve when we went to New Boston to Nanny's house for lunch. It was good to see everyone!

The girls got to spend the night with Poppa and Marmee and Aunt Kellie by themselves and together! They love spending time with their grandparents and feel extra special when they get all of the attention. :) We went to church on Christmas Eve at Poppa & Marmee's church and then came back to their house to open presents! It was so much fun to get to all be together! We also spent Christmas night at their house and were able to spend time with Richard and Aunt Dean. We also got to go down to Doc's to eat fish one night with Poppa, Marmee, Aunt Kellie, and their friends the Phelps'. It was YUMMY!

We spent the night at Nana & Doc's house on Christmas Eve. We put out reindeer food in the backyard and read the Night Before Christmas. (there aren't pics of these things because we left the camera card in Texarkana) On Christmas day, Santa had come! The girls had a great time seeing what Santa had brought and opening gifts from Mommy & Daddy! Uncle Andy, Aunt Casey, Tyler, & Ella came over to open presents later that morning. PRESENTS GALORE! :)

It was hard to come back to St. Louis after such a good visit in Texarkana, but we are already looking forward to seeing everyone again soon. It was a wonderful Christmas!
