Sledding in Forrest Park

Yea! We got 4 inches of snow last Wednesday night and two snowdays from school. I took the girls to a little park really close to our house to sled on Thursday, but on Saturday we all went to Forrest Park in St. Louis. Someone had told T.R. that the hill in front of the Art Museum is the place to go! So, we bundled up (it was in the teens), and headed down. This was the third day of the snow, so it had been sledded on a lot! It didn't slow us down though. I haven't been sledding since 5th grade, and it was the girls first time. We all had a blast!

Ready to go!

They are off!

It had been SO cold for SO long that this lake was frozen completely over.

Daddy and his girls. This is looking up the hill toward the Art Museum.

It was so cold that we tied their scarves around their mouths. The first time I went down with Emma, my teeth were hurting from smiling and the cold wind blowing on them!

They had so much fun...here they have their hands up like it's a roller coaster.

AnnaKate looked so cute from behind!
