T.R. called yesterday afternoon to tell me that the attending that he is working under this year had offered him his tickets to the Cardinals/Reds game. Who could pass that up? We took the girls and headed to downtown St. Louis for baseball, hotdogs, & popocorn! I didn't think the girls would be able to handle the whole game, but they did great (in between whining for food/drink, being a little sweaty & trips to the potty!). We did watch the entire game, and the Cardinals won! It was a lot of fun, and I am sure it won't be our last trip to Busch Stadium this year.

The score was 1-1, the bases were loaded, and Albert Pujols was up to bat! The excitement was contagious as he walked up to the plate. He got a great hit, but the outfielder caught it. Oh well!
