Happy Easter

It has been a great week celebrating Christ and what He has done for us. It is such a blessing to listen to Emma be able to tell me about it and to hear AnnaKate say, "Jesus died on the cross cause he loves us". The girls both had parties at school this week, and those were the only egg hunts they did this year! Today has been rainy and pretty cold. We went to church, came home, and had a very quiet afternoon of napping! Then, we had our friend, Mr. Jones, over for an Easter supper. It has been a great day!

The eggs were numbered 1-6, and the kids had to find a #1 first and go back to the fence. When they were all back, they went to find #2 and so forth. It was a lot of fun and made the hunt last a little longer! After they had found the 6 numbered eggs they could find 6 without numbers.

Pretty in their Easter best! :) Thanks Marmee & Poppa for the precious dresses. This is after church. AnnaKate talked her teachers into letting her go potty because everyone else was doing it (she is NOT potty trained), and she didn't make it. So, that's why she doesn't have on tights or shoes.
