Zoo Field Trip

Today was Emma's first field trip, and it was to the OKC Zoo. AnnaKate went too, and it was a lot of fun! The entire class wore orange t-shirts that had drawings of each child on it. Each kiddo had drawn themselves for the shirt. It was really cute! It was a beautiful day, and all of the animals were out and about. A new part of the zoo opened up last spring that showcases animals in Oklahoma. We saw turkeys, cougars, grizzly bears, bison, owls, bats, snakes, & lots of birds that live in our state! We have never made it over to the giraffes on a trip to the zoo, but we did today. It was well worth the walk even though we were all tired! What a fun day.
